About Babel
Babel is a language identification game. A short clip plays in a mystery language, and you select the country where it is spoken on a world map before the 30-second timer runs out.
You start with three lives; a wrong answer or a timeout costs one. The first five rounds use common languages, rounds six to fifteen get harder, and from round sixteen the languages are rare, some of them endangered. There are 94 languages to discover. After five seconds a hint can narrow the map to the possible countries.
