Project Dream

Full-Scale 787 Cockpit

Project Dream was a groundbreaking initiative to construct the first-ever Boeing 787 Dreamliner full-scale flight simulator. Built with Daniel Mezhiborsky using 3D printing, laser cutting, and woodworking techniques, this ambitious project created a realistic and immersive flight experience replicating the intricate details of a Boeing 787 cockpit.

Key Features

Full-Scale Replica

Meticulously recreated Boeing 787 Dreamliner cockpit at 1:1 scale, featuring authentic instrument panel layout and control positioning.

Advanced Fabrication

Combined 3D printing, laser cutting, and traditional woodworking to manufacture cockpit components with precision accuracy.

Flight Integration

Integrated with flight simulation software to provide realistic training scenarios and immersive flight experiences.

Building the Dream

Project Dream began with an ambitious goal: build the first-ever full-scale Boeing 787 Dreamliner flight simulator. Working alongside Daniel Mezhiborsky, we combined our passion for aviation with hands-on engineering skills.

The cockpit was constructed using a combination of modern and traditional fabrication techniques. 3D printers produced precise instrument bezels and switch panels, while laser cutting created the structural framework. Traditional woodworking techniques provided the cockpit shell and mounting systems.

The completed simulator serves both as an educational tool and an immersive flight experience. Every switch, dial, and display was positioned to match the real 787 cockpit, allowing users to practice procedures and experience what it's like to fly one of Boeing's most advanced aircraft.
