679th Armored Brigade (Reserve)
The Yiftah Formation (679th) is an IDF reserve armored brigade in the Bashan Formation, Northern Command. Formed in 1970 on Centurion tanks, it is noted for its role in the Golan Heights battles of the Yom Kippur War.
